Her Story
A family in crisis reached out to us recently, asking if we could possibly find loving homes for their four young dogs (all are under 1 year). Amy is the biggest and the most confident of the four dogs. She is a Border Collie, was born in August of 2019 and weighs 38 lbs. Amy is absolutely stunning with one blue eye and the other brown and a soft silky white/Merle coat. She is friendly with people but shy when first meeting them. It takes a good introduction and some time to warm up to to other dogs. She is very smart, loves to go out on walks and is great on leash. Her new family will need to have a fenced yard and be familiar with the herding breeds. She needs to stay very active, both physically and mentally. Her adoption fee is $500 and includes her recent spay, microchip, Rabies vaccine, Bordetella vaccine and other vetting.
If you’d like to make Amy part of your family, please complete a Refuge Rescue application.
