Her Story

Introducing Hannah!

We’ve got a couple of Golden girls! Hannah is nine months old and already Gorgeous! She needs a foster home immediately!

Hannah’s owner was giving her and another Golden, Kenzie, away on a social networking site because they could no longer afford to take care of them. Thank goodness an advocate was able to grab them quickly, otherwise they likely would have been used for breeding!

Hannah is super, super sweet with a typical Golden personality… and she’s just a tad timid. She seems to like other dogs a lot and will probably do best in a home where she isn’t bullied or overwhelmed by a more strong-willed dog. She could use a tad of confidence building – and lots and lots of lovies from her very own, dedicated human(s).

Hannah is only about 40 pounds right now; she’s painfully thin. We’ll have her up to optimum weight soon, but she is on the smaller side for a Golden. She probably won’t be over 50 or so pounds as an adult.

— Hannah and Kenzie are available to be adopted separately. We feel they will do best if adopted into separate homes. —

Go to www.refugerescue.org to complete a foster or adoption application. Hannah’s adoption fee is $600 and includes her upcoming spay, microchip, Bordetella vaccine, Rabies vaccine, booster vaccines and other vetting.
