Poppy

We received an urgent call from a grandmother with a family emergency. Due to domestic abuse, her daughter wound up in the hospital. The grandmother took in her grandkids to ensure their safety and well-being. But she needed an emergency placement for the family’s puppy. On short notice, only the county shelter seemed to be their option. She called us first and we agreed to help find a home for Poppy.

Poppy was born in August of 2019 and is beautiful. She’s a Catahoula Leopard Dog mix. She has a very playful, fun-loving personality and also loves to be held. She currently weighs about 15lbs.
